REIKI TRAINING AND HEALING TREATMENTS

USUI REIKI COURSE OUTLINE

This course is taught in person and online but the course material and basic format is the same. 

 

The content of the Usui Reiki Training courses are based on what Mrs. Takata had taught and passed on through her students in the 70's and until her death. What I teach I learned from William Rand, Laurelle Shanti Gaia, and Michael Authur Baird.

It is taught simply in a way that is easy to understand and to practice right away. 

 

The levels within Usui Reiki are:

 

Foundation – Level 1

Distant – Level 2

Advanced Reiki Training (ART) – Non-teacher training

Master - Teacher Training

 

Foundation - Level 1 

 

No prerequistes for this course.

This is taught as a one day course and at the end of the day the student will be able to give Reiki to self and others.

 

At this level you will learn:

 

  • Reiki’s history including the story of Mikao Usui (the founder of Reiki);

  • The history and meaning of the Gokai – the 5 Reiki Principles;

  • What is Reiki - The word defined and the practice explained;

  • The pillars of Reiki - Gassho, Reiji-ho, Chiryo;

  • The concept of Byosen and Beaming;

  • The attunement process - how it works and what it means;

  • Different ways to practice.

 

 

Distant - Level 2

 

Foundation - Reiki Level 1 is a prerequisite for this class.

This level is taught as a one day course and at the end of the day the student will be able to send Reiki to others who are not present.

At this level you will learn:

 

  • The Reiki symbols - what they mean and how to use and draw them; 

  • Distance Reiki healing - explanation and uses;

  • Mental and Emotional healing - unwanted habits, emotional issues;

  • How to use the symbols in a treatment session;

  • Ways to practice;

  • Moving forward in the Reiki journey.

Advanced Reiki Training (ART) - Non-teacher training

 

Distant - Reiki Level 2 is a prerequisite for this class.

This level is taught as a one day course and at the end of the day the student will have the Master symbol but not the ability to pass on the attunement.

At this level you will learn:

 

  • Original parts of Usui training and what's been added to the system;

  • Becoming a Reiki Master - lifestyle;

  • Crystal Grid and use of crystals in the Reiki system;

  • Attunements - a deeper look at how they work;

  • The Master symbol - what it means and how to use and draw it.

 

 

Master - Teacher Training

Advanced Reiki Training (ART) - Non-teacher training is a prerequisite for this class.

This level is taught over two days and at the end of the course the student will have the knowledge and ability to teach the full course and pass on the attunements for every level. 

​

At this level you will learn:

 

  • How to teach a Reiki class;

  • The mechanics of giving an attunement;

  • The attunement symbols - what they mean and how to use and draw them;

  • Healing attunements;

  • Level 1, 2, ART, and Master attunements - how to perform them;

  • Setting up your Reiki practice as a business.
